Why we're here, and how we work

KissMyAbsClub is the education project of Health Is Power Foundation — a registered nonprofit. This page explains what we're trying to do, how we decide what to publish, and how to check our work.

Our mission

Health Is Power Foundation exists to raise everyday health literacy — to help ordinary people understand their own bodies through clear, modern, evidence-based information, including hands-on and interactive tools. That's the mission in our founding charter, and it's the reason this site exists.

We started with gut health for a simple reason: it quietly influences a lot of how you feel day to day — digestion, energy, skin, mood, immunity — and yet most of what's written about it online is either oversimplified, fear-based, or quietly trying to sell you a bottle of something. We wanted a place that just explains things honestly.

What makes us different

A note on expert review. We're actively expanding our editorial board to include credentialed clinicians and registered dietitians who review our content. If you're a qualified health professional interested in reviewing, we'd love to hear from you.
